Summer 22-23 Primary History Network (Webinar) – 8 or 9 June 2022
These two-hour twilight network webinars are aimed at those responsible for leading, managing and teaching history in the primary school. Teachers will develop their vision for history in their school while gathering inspiring and creative ideas for leading and managing the teaching of outstanding history, so all children progress well.

Hampshire and Wessex Primary History Conference 2022 – 16 May 2022
This one-day face to face conference is for all primary history subject leaders.
Attending this conference will assist subject leaders stay up to date with their role and responsibilities and grow in their capacity to lead and manage History well in their schools.
Keynote speakers confirmed as Tim Jenner, History Subject Lead (Curriculum Unit) and Her Majesty’s Inspector (Schools) at Ofsted and Tom Palmer, writer of historical children’s fictions.

New on the Learning Zone - Secondary History Leadership Conference 2022 – 24 June 2022
This conference run by the HIAS History Advisor, Sarah Herrity brings together the best of national and local research and practice to provide invaluable professional development for history leaders, history teachers and SLT history line managers. It will be the first in person history conference we have been able to run since 2019 so it will be great to come together to hear from national and local speakers to inspire you in moving your history provision forward.
