These networks are designed for primary history subject leaders who would value reviewing their planning, teaching and assessment of history, reviewing the Ofsted requirements, considering best practice and updating subject knowledge to help with confidence in the subject.  

This course will prepare you to:  

·       develop your vision for history in your school  

·       gather inspiring and creative ideas for leading and managing the teaching of outstanding history  

·       share and discuss key issues relevant to teaching history in the classroom 

·       discover inspiring and creative ideas for teaching outstanding history.

Dates:

12 May 2026 – Milestones Museum, Basingstoke 

13 May 2026 – Lepe Country Park, Southampton

Next week marks the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. Picture News has created a special assembly presentation suitable for both KS1 and KS2. This resource is available to all schools free of charge.

We will continue to offer our artefact, library, and publications services, which can be ordered througCurriculum Centre order form.

Collection and returns of loan box

If you wish to collect or return loan boxes/items in person, please note that this can only be done by appointment. To schedule an appointment, kindly contact the relevant centre via phone or email provided above.

Courier delivered loans will remain unchanged.
